Halle Bailey Granted Restraining Order Against DDG Amid Abuse Allegations
Halle Bailey has been granted a domestic violence restraining order against her ex, rapper DDG, following serious allegations of physical abuse.
According to court documents, the alleged incidents began in January — a few months after their breakup in October. Bailey claims the situation turned violent when DDG came to pick up their son, Halo. She says she attempted to initiate a conversation about setting up a visitation schedule, but things quickly escalated.
While securing Halo into his car seat, Bailey alleges that DDG became increasingly hostile, repeatedly yelling, "Get out of my car, BITCH." Concerned for their son’s safety — especially as the infant began crying — Bailey says she became worried about DDG driving off in an agitated state.
That’s when things allegedly got physical. Bailey claims DDG pulled her hair, slammed her face into the steering wheel, and chipped her tooth. She says the altercation left her in tears and physical pain. Despite the fight subsiding, Bailey remained in the car out of concern for Halo and accompanied them to DDG’s home, where she reported the incident to his family.
Bailey says she left the home “hysterical,” bearing bruises on her arms in addition to the chipped tooth. She submitted photos of her injuries as part of her restraining order request.
The judge approved the order, requiring DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey. It also granted her permission to take Halo to Italy while she films a movie for the next two months.
In addition to physical distance, the order also prohibits DDG from speaking about Bailey or their son online. She claims the rapper has been stirring up his fanbase during live streams by publicly criticizing her, further fueling the ongoing conflict.
